This section consists of music for children or on the subject of children. Approximately one-third is instrumental--dances and marches for children. The vocal music is mostly of a sentimental nature. Several items relate to Charlie Ross, a child who was kidnapped in Philadelphia in 1874 and never found. There are many lithographed covers in this section.
